Compression Fittings fit standard taper ground glass joints to hold items such as temperature probes, sampling probes, and tubing securely in place. Compression fittings are manufactured from pure PTFE with a PEEK compression ring to give a secure grip. Many of our customers have found these particularly useful to use as liquid charging ports and to dose chemicals below the reactor’s liquid surface using one piece of PTFE tubing.

Compression fittings are manufactured from pure PTFE with a PEEK compression ring to give a secure grip.
Many of our customers have found these particularly useful to use as liquid charging ports and to dose chemicals below the reactor’s liquid surface using one piece of PTFE tubing.
This tubing has been tested down to vacuum as low as 3 torr, but ultimate vacuum will depend on the specific application.
The Ai Part number for the specific size is given by the taper for the X’s and the Y is the bore size.
Example: 24/40 taper compression fitting with ¼” bore would be GR.2440.250”
