Description

PTFE gaskets, also known by their trademark name Teflon®, are synthetic flouropolymer  gaskets that have excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, mineral oil, synthetic fluid, aromatics, and organic solvents and chemicals. They are one of the most commonly used gaskets in extraction due to their solvent resistance and durability. Though they are longer lasting than FKM, they are harder which can make it more difficult to get a good seal.
