Description

  • The New High Efficiency Distillation Head with 34/45 joint.

  • The new bottom inner joint allows for greater throughput and a larger surface area for vapor to condense (when compared to the 24/40 jointed high efficiency head).
  • Increased surface area.

  • The larger surface area of this distillation head provides the ideal platform for vapors, letting them cool and condense faster. This translates to improved flow rates across the board.
  • Reimagined with efficiency in mind.

  • The bottom portion is silvered and vacuum jacketed, while the top is solely vacuum jacketed. This creates an ideal temperature differential between the top and bottom parts of the distillation head. It also offers greater heat retention, which means greater overall efficiency and enhanced separation.
  • Improved, slanted “cup” design.

  • We’ve added a slanted, cup-type area inside the head. Why? After months of testing, we discovered that this adjustment and addition allows vapors to rise and pre-condense inside the top of the head, letting them safely drip down into the cup area.
  • You’ll see after running it why this minor change is a big deal.
  • Stable flow rate.

  • Once the vapor cools, distillate can fall down the walls and be channeled directly into the condenser, giving you an increased, stable flow rate without the use of large outlet ports.
  • This process is enhanced even more due to the 34/45 joints larger diameter opening and utilizes the greater surface area in the upper portion of the distillation head to aid in condensing vapor back to a liquid.
  • Multiple thermocouple placement.

  • We’ve created multiple thermocouple ports for modularity and ease of packing – a side mounted 19/22 joint and top-mount 34/45 joint.
  • Backwards compatible.

  • To maintain compatibility across yThe systems, we used 34/45 joints to ensure “plug and play” with yThe existing systems.
  • Added o-ring joint.

  • We’ve added an 24/40 o-ring joint where yThe condenser or multi distribution adapter attaches to the distillation head, for a tighter, more reliable seal.
